Discounts at Flagship

How do discounts work?

To incentivize a creator to share your brand and incentivize the audience to buy your products, you can send a Discount Offer under Creators → Send Discount. See Offers for Individual Creators on Flagship to learn more on how to send a Discount Offer.

Flagship automatically applies the discount % as set by you.

Discounts that stack on Flagship

If you have a BOGO deal running, as well as Campaign Sale or Creator Discount, those will stack with the BOGO offer. Flagship Funded discounts will also stack with your currently running discounts.

Does Flagship support individual creator discount codes?

Flagship does not use creator individual discount codes to track attribution or to provide a discount to the creators’ audience since orders flow through directly on each creator’s Flagship shop.

If your creator has a discount code, create a Discount Offer for those individual creators to apply their discount on their shop. You can do this under Creators → Search for the creator → Send Offer → Discount.

Here you will add in the % off of the creators discount code. You can title this “Discount Code” or whatever you prefer. Fill out the rest of the information, and if the code has no expiration date, select No End Date.

Help! Why are discounts showing up on my products that I didn’t create?

There could be a few reasons for this. We have several VIP creators who launch, and sometimes Flagship will fund a 20% discount to help the creator drive sales and celebrate their launch.

This discount is stackable, so if you created a 10% off **Creator Discount Offer (**you can see these under Offers → Discount), it will show a total of 30% off on the shopper’s end (20% Flagship funded discount + the 20% off Creator Discount).

If you do not want the additional creator Discount Offer % applied, you can click into the Creator and End Now at any time.

If the campaign shows Expired, that means the campaign is not active.

For accounting purposes, this 20% off shouldn’t be reflecting at all in your financials or your Order Reports. To be sure, you can view your order reports to see the financial breakdown.

**For any other discounts that may be confusing to you, we recommend checking the Offers or Campaign tabs to see if there is a sale running incorrectly.

We also pull site wide discounts to maintain price parity with your website.

What if my website sale requires a coupon or discount code?

Flagship does not support any type of sale discount or coupon codes. If you have a sale running which requires a coupon or discount code to be entered at checkout, you will select Discount needs to be applied on top of Shopify when creating a Campaign Sale or Creator Discount.

Gifting

Gifting is a great way to get your products in front of creators. You can create a Gift Offer by following the Offers for Individual Creators on Flagship process above and selecting the Gift Offer.

Please note, while we encourage creators to only accept gifts they are genuinely interested in try and hopefully loving to post about - when gifting a creator, sharing is never guaranteed unless there is a contract between the brand and creator in place.
