First, make sure to introduce your shop to your followers.
This is a new space for them, and they’ll follow your lead (they’re your followers, after all). We’ve found the best way to launch your Flagship shop is by sharing two IG story sets:
- Story set 1: Video of you recording yourself introducing your shop, explaining what it is and why it’s important to you. That can look like:
- “One of the ways I support myself as a creator is by sharing products I love with you all. My Flagship shop contains my favorite small and independent brands and has the best deals for you already built in. Plus, instead of going to all different websites to buy items, you can shop across hundreds of brands in one shopping cart & checkout with free returns, which is amazing!”
- Story set 2: Share a product, deal, or brand you’re excited about

- Launch by sharing links to products you have in hand - being able to hold and display the product(s) you’re talking about makes the recommendation more real & powerful for your followers.
- Sales Drive Sales: Share products that are on sale - and make sure to mention when the sale ends (urgency helps people make decisions!)
Should I share individual products? A collection? My storefront?
💡 The more specific you are with what you’re sharing, the fewer decisions your followers have to make about what to buy. That’s why sharing a specific product converts best, followed by a brand, and then a collection.
- Share your Flagship home page when you’re talking about the shop generally:
- When introducing your shop
- In your link-in-bio
- On your website
- In your newsletter
- In the description of your podcast or course or YouTube video!
